Quality hardwood with a mixture of oak & chestnut can be at the heart of your wood-burning stove or open fire.
The quality mixture of hardwood oak and chestnut firewood we supply comes in a builder’s bag measuring 800mm x 800mm x 800mm containing 750 to 800kg of firewood 12 to 17cm long (5 to 7 inches) – perfect size for your wood burner or open fire.
The wood is delivered to your driveway – we do not stack it in the wood store!
Many other wood providers supply a mixture of softwood which burns very quickly and in most cases the wood is very wet and will not burn let alone provide any heat.
Our oak and chestnut firewood has been barn stored for 3 to 4 years and is well below 20% moisture content.
Firewood that has been kiln-dried has had all the moisture removed in the drying process
which means it burns away very quickly.
